Ian Sandy, M.D., D.A.B.A.
Dr. Sandy is a board-certified
anesthesiologist who has been in practice since 1997. Dr.
Sandy has been with UAMG since 2003.
Dr. Sandy is a native Californian. He grew up in Riverside,
and attended Loma Linda University. After earning a Bachelor
of Science degree in Health Science in 1989, Dr. Sandy
received his medical education at Loma Linda University
Medical Center, and graduated in 1993 with a Doctor of
Medicine degree.
Dr Sandy stayed at Loma Linda for an internship in internal
medicine. He then completed his residency training in
anesthesiology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston,
Texas, in 1997.
Dr. Sandy returned to Southern California to enter private
practice. He joined UAMG in 2003. Dr Sandy is currently
Chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology at San Antonio
Community Hospital.
Dr. Sandy is married, and has two young children.
