Samuel Lardizabal, M.D.,
D.A.B.A.
Dr.
Lardizabal is a board-certified anesthesiologist who has
been with UAMG since 1977.
Dr. Lardizabal is a native of Mindoro, the Philippines. Dr.
Lardizabal attended and graduated from the Pasay City
Academy in Manila. His pre-medical and medical studies were
at Far Eastern University, the Philippines, from which he
earned the Doctor of Medicine degree in 1967.
Dr. Lardizabal subsequently came to the U.S. as an exchange
student. Dr. Lardizabal served an internship at St Margaret
Memorial Hospital, and a surgical residency at The
University of Pittsburgh's Montefiore Hospital, in
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Lardizabal residency training in anesthesiology was at
St Luke's Hospital and Medical Center in New York City. He
started his practice in Marion, Ohio, before relocating to
Southern California in 1977.
Dr. Lardizabal is married, with four grown children and five
grandchildren. In his spare time , he loves to play golf and
travel the world.
