Dr. Singh is a board certified anesthesiologist who has been in practice since 1995, and has been a member of UAMG since 1999. Prior to joining UAMG, Dr. Singh was Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at Loma Linda University Medical Center. 

Dr Singh is of Indian descent, and was born in Penang, Malaysia. He grew up in the Far East and in England.

Dr. Singh graduated from St Johns Boy School in Leatherhead, Surrey, England in 1982. He subsequently attended St Mary's Medical School of the University of London, graduating in 1987 with an M.B.B.S. degree, the equivalent of an M.D. degree in the U.S.

Dr. Singh then completed a Residency in Family Medicine at Dover Health Center in Dover, Kent, England in 1991.

After immigrating to the U.S., Dr. Singh served an internship in Internal Medicine at Northwestern University School of Medicine in 1991-1992 and completed a residency in anesthesiology at Loma Linda University Medical Center in 1995. He then joined the faculty at Loma Linda as Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology until 1999.

Dr. Singh is fluent in French, Spanish and in his native language Punjabi.
