Jas Singh, M.D., D.A.B.A.
Dr. Singh is a
board
certified anesthesiologist who has been a
member of UAMG since 2000. Prior to that, Dr. Singh
was Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at Albany
Cardiac Institute, Albany Medical Center in Albany,
New York.
Dr. Singh
was born in Nashville, Tennessee, and grew up in
Southern California.
Dr. Singh's
undergraduate studies was at The University of
California at Riverside, where he received a
Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, with minor in
Political Science in 1985.
Dr. Singh's
medical education was at The University of Texas
Medical Branch, from which he received his Doctor of
Medicine degree in 1991.
Dr Singh
served an internship and residency in anesthesiology
at Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York from
1991 to 1995. He subsequently completed a Fellowship
in the subspecialty of Cardiothoracic Anesthesia in
1996. He then joined the faculty of Albany Cardiac
Institute, Albany Medical Center, until 2000 when he
returned to Southern California to join UAMG.
Dr. Singh is
married and has one daughter.
