George Cheng, M.D., D.A.B.A.
Dr.
Cheng is a
board
certified anesthesiologist
who has
been with UAMG since 2000.
Prior to that, Dr. Cheng was
Assistant Professor of
Anesthesiology at Loma Linda
University Medical Center.
Dr Cheng
is a native of Singapore.
After graduation from high
school in Singapore in 1976,
Dr. Cheng served for 2 years
in the Singapore Armed
Forces, before immigrating
to the U.S.
Dr.
Cheng's undergraduate
studies was at Pacific Union
College in Angwin,
California, where he earned
a Bachelor of Science degree
in Biochemistry with honors
in 1983.
Dr.
Cheng attended Loma Linda
University Medical School and
received a Doctor of
Medicine degree in 1987. He
subsequently served an
internship in General
Surgery, and completed a residency in
anesthesiology
at Loma Linda University
Medical Center in 1991.
Dr.
Cheng was Chairman of the
Department of Anesthesiology
at San Antonio Community
Hospital in 2007.
